Is that normal? Will my hive swarm? Why can't I find the queen? Is that a disease? I can't see eggs, is my queen laying? Do I even have a queen?
Sometimes you may want a second opinion about what you're seeing (or not seeing) in your hive; or need some advice on what to do next about your bees and beekeeping in general.
We come alongside and help identify what is going on so that we can offer the best advice to help you manage your hive confidently.
Whether it is a routine inspection to find the queen, identifying an issue, removing a honey crop or providing more space, we are right there to support you through the process.
We can visit your community or special interest group or aged care facility to provide fun and interactive talks about bees and beekeeping.
As a trained educator and accomplished public speaker with more than twenty years experience in community education to people of all ages and stages of life, Mon will tailor a session to suit your needs.
If you are a not for profit community group, there is no speaking fee, and we will bring a range of our products for sale.
If you are a business or company, contact us today to find out about our booking and fee schedule.
If you are child care centre or kindergarten, a fun and interactive session about bees and beekeeping can be tailored to suit the ages of the participants.
Mon provides games and activities that keep the children entertained and engaged, whilst learning aligned to the national curriculum takes place.
An observation beehive provides opportunity for the children to get up close and observe a working hive through the sealed glass window.
Mon has a current WWCC, police clearance and public liability insurance.

Or perhaps you have always wondered if bees and beekeeping is for you.
Or do your kids ask questions about honeybees that you can't answer?
This unique opportunity gives you an inside look into a working beehive. Handle a frame or two of bees, experience the thrill of finding the queen, spot eggs and see what honey and pollen looks like in the hive.
