Meet the Mondees Bees Team

Mon founded Mondees Bees in 2016 after her initial mission to attract pollinators to her vegetable garden turned everything on its head!  Adding a Certificate III in Beekeeping to her bow has enabled Mon to capitalise on her education and training background to deliver quality training and mentoring in beekeeping. As a qualified community educator and accomplished public speaker, Mon is also available as a guest speaker or to deliver tailored community information sessions to local schools and community groups.

Mon further puts her creative talents to good use by handcrafting a range of quality products from the hive. So, whether you are after premium, raw honey or want to know more about bees - Mon is waiting to hear from you! 

It's all about bees! Without our awe inspiring team of hardworking girls Mondees Bees would not exist! 

Our bees are hosted in backyards across the western suburbs of Adelaide, where they maximise the natural resources in the environment to produce premium, raw honey, quality pollen, the finest wax, and powerful propolis. 

 Mon harnesses these incredible natural components that are rich in antioxidants, are antimicrobial, antifungal, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory to bring you a range of quality honey & beeswax products that are packed with the good stuff that make every product a powerhouse of goodness for your skin, for your body, for your health, and maybe not so much for your waistline! 

Mon's expertise is used to offer a range of beekeeping services tailored to the recreational beekeeper.  

Small group training covering a range of topics is scheduled throughout the year. 

1:1 mentoring is available as a single session or as a bundle to those new to beekeeping and those wishing to brush up on their skills. 

Mon is a sought after guest speaker who enthrals her audiences as she unpacks the mysterious world of the honeybee in an engaging, humorous way.  

Her alter ego - Mon the Bee Lady visits schools and kindergartens, providing fun and interactive education sessions that immerse the children into the world of bees.

For those that want to try their hand at beekeeping, Mon offers hands on beekeeping experiences for individuals, couples, families and small groups.
