Honey
At Mondees Bees, our mixed flora honey is harvested in single origin batches, never blended and never heat treated. Because our hives are located in backyards in different areas of Adelaide, South Australia; the unique flavour profiles of the local area is captured in the taste of the honey. We only lightly strain our honey to bring you 100% pure, raw honey as it exists in the hive. Whether its a little or a lot, raw, comb, chunk or whipped we have got you covered.
Honey Products
Think honey caramel - now add popcorn, and how about some slow roasted nuts...hmm, yum! Our range of honey products include fun filled or throat soothing honey lollipops, salad dressings, nut brittle and of course our honey nut caramel popcorn. We continually experiment with new recipes that showcase the wonderful work of our hardworking bees, so if you are going to have a food coma, make it a honey one and get some of our honey products in your belly!
Beeswax Products
Beeswax is a natural resource that is incredibly versatile and has a multitude of uses.
Did you know that beeswax candles purify the air? They release negative ions into the air, which attach themselves to positively charged airborne pollutants such as dust and pollen, helping to clean the air around you.
And did you know that beeswax food wraps will preserve your food for longer than conventional plastic or aluminium wraps? The antimicrobial, antibacterial and antifungal properties of beeswax keep the good stuff in and the bad stuff out!
Whether you want natural candles or fragranced beeswax melts; a single or a pack of beeswax food wraps, or a refresher brick to renew your wrap; a furniture wax or a food grade one to refresh your chopping board; we have it in stock or can make it to order.
Pure beeswax bricks are also available if you want to experiment with your own beeswax recipes.
Bath and Body Products
We offer a wide range of bath and body products, including soaps, balms, lotions and waxes. All of our products are made from our own honey or beeswax - (sometimes both), and high-quality raw materials such as fine oils, decadent clays and rich butters to create indulgent skin food for your body. Whether its a beard balm, a skin lotion, an exfoliating gardeners scrub bar or luxurious all over body soap, you are sure to find something special in our bath and body range that will make a perfect gift for someone special. You will love it so much, you will want to get some for yourself too!
